I had scheduled to take the morning off work on Friday 21st March because I really wanted a lay in. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen as the builders were putting a roof on next door from 7.30am! I decided I needed to up the ante on getting my book sold so I really focused on that in the morning. I also decided to check every permutable flight back to Dalaman in April from various airports and on all dates starting from as early as a week after I landed. I’d agreed to dog sit but didn’t know the dates yet, so I couldn’t book a return flight. By lunch time I was back on it with work, where I was busy promoting Jet2 holidays – they proved to be popular lately.
I worked all afternoon and then went to celebrate having had more book sales, with friends. I’d arranged to meet them at Ren Garden after work and it was a good evening where we were too busy chatting so I forgot to get any photos. We had a great night and never stopped laughing. I did rush back home so I could call my parents as they were off on a trip the next day. It was after midnight when I got to bed and the Jazz Bar was playing loud music until about 2am!
