There was excitement for me on Monday 13th April, in more than one way. I got paid and it was correct so I was pleased with that. I was also only just under my weekly budget so I was determined to not overspend in the next 2 days. I had beans on toast for breakfast then had a short walk for some fresh air.
I attended a Copy Clinic session in the afternoon and was getting more movement on my content writing for books, planners and even digital products. Because of the unpredictability of working in the travel industry, I didn’t want to just rely on getting paid commission or being affected by global issues. I’d noticed customers were looking to book shorter and closer to home trips more recently. I was therefore spending a lot of time working on creating passive income streams for the future.
I had a late lunch of leftover chicken with cauliflower cheese which looked unimpressive but tasted good. I had strawberries with quark and honey then got back to my laptop.
In the evening I was invited to a BBQ with Mark & Kate at The Aussies’ place. I called to Yaman Büfe 1 on the way, for wine and soda, where I spent just 315 lira (£5.25) before wandering over for a lovely evening with friends. The food was good, we had a few drinks and played games where we all laughed a lot! I completely ruined my Slimming World plan by eating lots of fairy cake made by Kate, which I just couldn’t resist.
Gratitude List

2. Plans to make money through passive income
3. A fun BBQ with friends – so much laughter!
