It was Sabotage Tuesday on Tuesday 14th April so I focused on getting on with work. I had enquiries about various Greek islands this week and a couple of tentative questions about Vietnam. I had lots of half started side projects too, which I was working my way through but not at the rate I wanted to. I didn’t stop for lunch or cups of tea until 3pm when I decided to have some pasta and a fresh mint tea.
After cracking through the to do list until 6pm, I decided to take myself off for a walk. Because it was the end of week 2 today and Fat Club tomorrow, I had to avoid any temptation to spend money, drink alcohol or eat unhealthy treats.
On my walk I went as far as the end of the river walk towards the Denizkızı ferry, as there are very few temptations along there. I took quite a few photos and then on the way back got chatting with an old friend of my parents, Yener. He showed me his new boat, we had a photo together but I had to rush off as I needed a pee.
I had a simple chicken, peppers and onion wrap for dinner then chilled out before bed by calculating where I was on my weekly budget. I’d gone over last week so this week I’d tried harder, ending on a total of £69.46 spent, out of a £70 weekly budget! I’d only had 2 zero spend days but I was pleased to have achieved the budget. I knew it would be very difficult to do that next week as I had quite a few things to pay out for.
